Once again Jet 2 have choosen Shine to provide a model for their latest campaign, which is this time run in conjunction with their birthday celebrations. Shine model Grace got to indulge in some delicious birthday cake while playing a focal part in the Calendar Girls inspired shoot.
Shine recently had the pleasure of working with local Yorkshire photographer, Xanthe Hutchinson for her collaboration with designer, Emma O'Connor and Shine model, Rowan Swale. The result was a selection of stunning images and a very pleased Xanthe who described working with a Shine model as simply 'excellent'. Shine is not only proud of our long-standing relationship with ghd but how pleased the company continually is with the high calibre of our models. Over the past two months in particular, Shine has provided models for numerous evenings where the ghd stylists work their magic on the girls to showcase their products to potential and current clients.
In February, a selection of Shine's top models showcased a range of designers stunning bridal gowns and suits on the catwalk of the Wedding & Lifestyle Show 2010 in Harrogate. Flaunting designs from the likes of Ronald Joyce, Tobi Hannah & Slaters Menswear, our models wowed visitors to the show to music and choreography also arranged by Shine. Shine produced The Mall's fashion show, showcasing fashion such as Primark, Next and TK Maxx. Shine sourced the models, the clothes, the choreography, lighting, staging, music and every other aspect of the show.The audience throughly enjoyed the high energy show, to the point where the manager of The mall has decided to get Shine to produced two Fashion shows a year. And we are delighted to be working with them on many other project too!
Shine teamed up with Soccer-City to promote a new lunch time corporate 5-a-side football league.The girls took to the streets of Leeds and to local businesses to get companies to sign up for the league.As a result the leagues are filling up and now the competition between businesses is not restricted to the office but now on the football pitch.

Shine teamed up with HUB (Marketing Design Photography) and HSL Furniture Store to showcase their latest collection of furniture. Shine provided a female model to be photographed with the a selection of the latest furniture from HSL. The shoot required a specific model as she had to sell the piece of furniture whilst not being the main focus of the image. From this shoot Shine has provided many models for shoots with HUB & HSL.
Shine provided one of our top models for a shoot for SAB Luggage, another credible London company choosing Shine over other London modelling agencies! The shoot was to promote their high profile luggage range along side the Orient Express, with the original train featuring in the shoot. This image was one of the clients favourites, of which there were many!
Shine teamed up M-S-Solutions and York City Council to promote road safety.3 members of Shine's team were dressed in fluorescent green outfits to attract the attention of members of the public around York City Centre. Yellow bands were distributed along with leaflets on road safety whilst images were taken for madeyoulook.tv a social networking site. Overall the promotion was a huge success with the public becoming more aware of road safety.
Shine bared all when one of our models posed in the nude at York Racecourse to create promotional leaflets to be distributed at Royal Ascot Race Meeting. The aim was to send out the message that no skills are being taught in the UK to make clothes in this country. Without the skills to create, how can we have the fashion to make?
Shine provided two models for the giants Tesco to promote their new range of accessories and clothing in their stores. Tesco's were looking for two individuals to make their new range of products ‘Shine' and grab the consumers attention. This was achieved with great success, with the promotional material of their new products soon to be published and the garments themselves on the shelves in the very near future!!
